Arawak Accadde A…….

Originally published in 1979 on Edizioni Leonardi’s Squirrel Records label, Accadde A is today one of the most popular titles among library music enthusiasts all around the world, as well as one of the rarest, most sought-after and highly rated records in the vast panorama of synchronization LPs.

The composer of this album tracks is Benito Simoncini, who appears here under the pseudonym Arawak. Accadde A consists of twelve instrumental tracks mainly jazz/funk-based, ranging from more atmospheric and relaxed moments, often characterised by acoustic guitar arpeggios, to engaging, fast-paced drum breaks with the flute in evidence, evoking typical Italian detective 70s movies scenarios. The track Accadde a Bali in particular has been sampled by numerous artists from the Rap/Hip Hop scene.
