Barry White – Rhapsody in White

The Love Unlimited Orchestra were the instrumental voice of Maestro Barry White. Rhapsody in White, the group’s debut LP written and produced by BW, was issued in 1974, following his breakthrough solo success the year before. Mostly instrumental, it’s highlighted by their No. 1 signature song, “Love’s Theme,” a.k.a. The launchpad of the 1970s disco movement – but also includes Barry White vocal appearances on the wildly popular LP cuts, “Midnight and You” and “Baby Blues.”
