Dandy Returns Dandy Livingstone – His music and band that comes through the strongest. Dandy Livingstone can take rocksteady and do something a little different with it (at the time) is amazing. The tracks on here simply pulse with strong bass lines and fantastic organ and horn work along the lines of The Aggrolites, Prince Buster and The Upsetters. Tracks such as “Put on Your Dancing Shoes” and “musical Land” just make you want to shout out some James Brown “UH”s and get down with the rocksteady beat. This a record for a happy day!
