Doro Pesch has been called the Queen of Metal for so long its practically a job title, but this record reminds you she built that crown on songs, not just swagger. Where Forever Warriors throws fists, Forever United opens its arms. Its an album about gratitude, memory, and the community shes nurtured from Warlock days to festival headliner. You hear that right away in Lift Me Up, a bright mid-tempo anthem with a chorus that sticks, driven by the steady push of Johnny Dees drums and the warm glue of Nick Douglass bass. Doros voice still cuts with that heroic rasp, but she leans into melody here, letting the guitars chime rather than simply charge. Longtime foils Bas Maas and Luca Princiotta split the guitar firepower and color the edges with tasteful leads and keys, and the whole band sounds road-tested, which makes sense for an artist who practically lives on tour. The records emotional axis sits with It Cuts So Deep and Living Life to the Fullest.
