Jade Bird CD With Autographed Booklet

Following up her 2017 EP Something American, England’s Jade Bird is releasing her self titled debut album on Glassnote Records, featuring her new single My Motto. On this power ballad Jade calls on her inner strength after a break up to realize she may be better off on her own. Jades signature acoustic guitar elements take a back seat on My Motto to show off her powerhouse vocals.

The album also includes the recently release hit I Get No Joy, a prime example of Jade Birds signature blend of Americana, punk, and indie pop. When asked about the meaning about the song, Jade said This song is about the stream of thought that runs through your head at all times as an over thinker. Its about how that gets in the way of being present in the moment and ultimately getting no joy and about the frustration of everyones clich of happiness not making you feel fulfilled either.
