Kitty Wells – Queen Of Hony Tonk Street

Though the material is slightly uneven and the album only has one hit single (in the form of the title track), Queen of Honky Tonk Street is still a very good late ’60s LP by Kitty Wells. Occasionally, the production is a bit too heavy for Wells’ honky tonk inclinations, but her gutsy voice always makes the songs worth hearing.
