Sleater-Kinneys 10th studio album was recorded in Portland, Oregon during the summer of 2020 against a backdrop of social unrest, devastating wildfires, and a raging pandemic. Its music for an imagined togetherness. Carrie Brownstein and Corin Tucker welcomed local musicians in the studio to bring their vision to life. For the first time, the band also took the reins and self-produced the eleven-track offering.
