Fallen Angel surges on a big chorus, and Brets acoustic hush on Every Rose Has Its Thorn still stings a little. DeVilles wiry leads crackle, leaving plenty of room for Brets voice to carry the hooks. Rikki Rockett keeps it punchy throughout, with tidy fills that keep the tempos dancing rather than dragging. Pressed on red vinyl, this LP gives the low end a touch more shove.
