joan’s debut album `superglue’ is the landing point of a journey that began with 2019’s `porta’ ep, followed by 2020’s `cloudy’ and `partly cloudy’ eps, and their `wave era’ with 2021’s `hi’ and `bye’ eps. the band’s newly found joy of parenthood inspired them to write and record their irresistible debut album. after touring endlessly over the past 4 years, `superglue’ is a return to their trademark alt-pop bops, tinged with the sweetest hint of `90s r&b influences.
