You get the righteous stomp of Its My Life and the sprawling drama of Sky Pilot without the CD-era glare. Spread across two records, this pressing gives the early singles more space and the low end sits deeper. Burdons voice sounds lived-in rather than boxed, and Hilton Valentines guitar bite lands cleanly.
