The Chronic is the debut studio album by hip hop producer and rapper Dr. Dre and was released on his Death Row Records label. It was Dre’s first solo album after leaving N.W.A and Ruthless Records, and launched the career of Snoop Dogg who was a performer and co-writer on the album.
